Policy Platform

Fighting for working families in CA State Assembly District 27.

Take Money Out of Politics and Break the Two-Party Political Machine

Time and time again, we've seen politicians sell out to billionaires and private corporations. We must ban corporations from donating to political campaigns and publicly finance our elections to protect our democracy from being bought.

🏥

Healthcare for All

Quality, affordable healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We'll fight to build a healthcare system that puts people before profits and ensures every Californian can get the care they need.

Housing Reform

Ban institutional investors and private equity firms from buying up housing and inflating costs. Californians deserve homes, not investment portfolios for Wall Street.

⚖️

Attacking Monopolies / Corporate Power

Creating "affordability" means fighting Big Tech, Big Pharma, and other corporate powerhouses that rig the economy against small businesses and working people. These include (but are not limited to): Google, Amazon, PG&E, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Meta, United Health, Fire Truck Manufacturers (and many more).

Protecting Privacy

Government agencies like ICE have partnered with Big Tech (i.e. Palantir) and weaponized the use of personal data to prey on our people. We must ban the collection, sale, and use of our personal data and protect our 4th Amendment rights

🔍

Crackdown on Waste and Fraud

Californians deserve representatives that fight to clean up the misspending of taxpayer dollars. The days of untracked spending and overpaid consultants must come to an end.

💧

Water Infrastructure and Sustainability

District 27 is an agricultural powerhouse whose effect is felt all over the world. The State must invest in water infrastructure projects to ensure our region has all the water it needs to continue feeding the planet.

🧒

Universal Childcare

Rising childcare costs have made it impossible for parents of young children to navigate both their professional pursuits and the affordability crisis in the broader economy. Investments in our children are investments in our future. California must follow the lead of New Mexico and New York to create a quality, affordable Universal Childcare system.

🏗️

Build, Build, Build

California's infrastructure is crumbling. We've made the construction of major projects impossible through self-regulation and an unwillingness to prevent consolidation and promote competition. We must cut through the obstacles and invest in roads, bridges, broadband, and public transit that connect our communities and drive economic growth.

Fight With Us

These policies are powered by people, not billionaires, lobbyists or corporate PACs. Join the movement to break the two-party political machine.
